There is a rhythm that pulses within you, can you feel it?

Like the thundering of wild horses running in unison or the steady flap of a hawk's wings as it takes flight or maybe it's more like the smooth glide of a fish moving through water or the rustle and sway of poplar leaves in the wind. Maybe it's all  those things.

Whatever the rhythm of your Wild, let it consume you. Let its pulse move you into the awareness of your Truest nature. Let it call your essence forth and bring your magnificence into being.

Your Wild is your link t...

While I was travelling through

the mountains of Chiapas, Mexico in my early 20's, shortly after the Zapatistas uprising,

I was befriended by a sweet little girl with big brown eyes.

She found me while I was meandering through an outdoor market in San Cristobal de Las Casas, she just slid her tiny hand into mine and looked up at me with a disarming smile. That was all it took, my heart was hers.

Every time I visited that market she'd reappear, slipping her little hand into mine and beaming that big beautiful smile of hers. We'd sit and watch my...

What would your life look like if you let love lead the way?

Get really honest with yourself.

Would you still be doing the same work, would you be surrounded by the same people, would you be living in the same home, city, country...?

If you said yes to all of those questions then you're obviously already letting your beautifully robust heart lead the way.

But most of us have some unbridled fear that gets in the way of our heart's desires, preventing us from actualizing the life we were born to live. Which is just part of being human, fear is built into...

I'm talking all varieties of relationships; lovers, family members, co-workers, friends... etc, they all have the same purpose.

To activate whatever longs to be transformed within you.

That's it. Whether it's that relative that triggers you every time you see them, sometimes without even saying a word, or that friend or lover who's company feels so good. It's all for the same purpose. The trigger is just as valuable as the soothing sensation of being around someone who doesn't activate any negative feelings or discomfort within you.

When I was seven my greatest ambition was to fly. I practiced every day in my backyard, jumping off things – willing myself to take flight, unfazed when gravity would pull me to the ground.

At night I'd dream I was flying,  waking with the sensation of the wind against my skin, exhilarated. The feeling was so visceral, I truly believed I could fly.

I've carried this blind faith with me into adulthood. I guess it's safe to say that I've always had outlandish aspirations.

I'm a dreamer, a diehard optimist, a believer in ma...

When was the last time you loved yourself up? I mean really took the time to nurture yourself in a meaningful way so that you felt truly restored and brimming with warm–hearted love.

Was it yesterday? A week ago? A month ago? Can you remember?

Loving yourself is like turning on the light in a dark room. It extinguishes all the damaging negative self–talk that can haunt us from the shadows, liberating us to live authentically – to be a genuine expression of our innermost selves, the self that is a pure, radiant expression of love....

Eight months ago I got an email from Elena Brower offering me a guest spot at an advanced teacher training workshop she was leading in Toronto, hosted by 889 Yoga.

I was stunned!

Elena was someone I admired deeply (and still do), a teacher among teachers. She wasn't someone I had any sort of personal relationship with. I'd taken coaching workshops with her but I had never communicated with her outside of that context.

Turns out, she had read a particularly revealing Newsletter and blog post I'd written on Vulnerability, to which she re...

We've all heard the call of our intuition, and ignored it. You know, those moments when you have a nagging feeling or a voice telling you which way you need to go or which choice you need to make but you dismiss it and end up landing headfirst in the mess of your own self-sabotage.

I love those moments!

I love them because they remind me that my intuition is always there, guiding me, I just need to listen. I love them because they give me the opportunity to familiarize myself with the feeling, the tone, the quality with which my intuition...

I don't know about you but 2016 whupped my ass. So much so that I cancelled my New Year's Eve plans to celebrate, opting to have a three–way Skype with two of my favourite people (in our pyjamas) visualizing our year ahead, getting  amped for 2017 in a clear and intentional way.

Now visualizing, that is something I can get behind!

The difference being that resolutions are an invitation to fail. According to Forbes, only 8% of people actually achieve their resolution goals. That doesn't seem like a successful stat to me.

Resol...

I've tried to blog about love a handful of times but I always get daunted by the enormity of it, the vastness of the human heart, the immeasurable nature of LOVE.

How could I possibly distil it down to 900 words?!

That wouldn't even fit a single chapter of my heart–story; an epic novel that has no beginning or ending, just an endless flow of experiences that have branded my understanding of love.

And then there's the issue of my unconventional view of relationships. My extreme need for freedom pushing against the boundaries that most peo...
