The Practice

My yoga journey began over 30 years ago at the Salt Spring Island Yoga Centre. What started as an exploration of breath and movement has become a lifelong devotion to embodiment and natural rhythm.

I guide vinyasa practices that help to awaken the body’s innate intelligence—an invitation to move as you are, to listen, and to rediscover the ease that exists within you. Each class unfolds as a living conversation between breath and being.

An Experience of Presence

Yoga is a return to intimacy with life itself. Through movement, breath, and awareness, we reawaken the body’s capacity to self-correct, to harmonize, to flow.

Whether the pace is gentle or dynamic, each practice emphasizes mindful sequencing, energetic alignment, and attuned awareness—supporting strength, agility, and the freedom that comes from deep self-connection.

The Atmosphere

Music and scent are woven through each class to deepen the sensory field of presence. Custom playlists guide the rhythm of the practice, while therapeutic grade essential oils are diffused to align with intention—creating a space that feels both grounded and radiant, where the body remembers its own harmony.

The Classes

  • Detox Flow — Clear, Revitalize, Renew

    This dynamic, breath-led practice supports the body’s natural detoxification processes through twisting, pulsing, and repetitive movements designed to stimulate the organs and increase circulation. As the rhythm builds, tension and stagnation begin to dissolve, leaving you feeling lighter, clearer, and more energized. Each sequence is guided by mindful awareness — strengthening the body while cleansing the mind and restoring inner flow.

  • Yin Flow— Soften, Open, Receive

    A slow, deep practice inviting you to release layers of physical and emotional holding. Through long-held postures supported by props and breath, the body unwinds at its own pace, opening connective tissue and energetic pathways. This class cultivates stillness, introspection, and nervous system regulation — creating the conditions for profound healing, rest, and renewal.

  • Yin Yang Flow — Balance, Strengthen, Integrate

    A therapeutic fusion of opposites — half invigorating flow, half restorative stillness.The first half builds warmth, strength, and resilience through active, rhythmic movement; the second half invites surrender and deep release through Yin postures and guided meditation. This balanced practice harmonizes the body’s energies, grounding the system and returning you to a state of calm equilibrium.
